inspired by ‘the real england’ by paul kingsnorth, which explores how identity connected to locations and places, this publication explores my complicated sense of belonging and vietnamese identity. using personal archive photographs and carefully chosen words, i create a narrative showing the relationship with my vietnamese identity as someone who has grown up in the uk and spent hardly anytime in her home country.
